The kids and I had a very enjoyable time at the fair this year. Wesley entered peanutbutter bars and a poster on the different webs that spiders weave.  Wesley won a red ribbon (which should have been blue if mom and read the directions and included a recipe with the bars ) for his peanut butter bars and a  red ribbon for his poster.  Meghan entered a chocolate lovers cream cheese pie, which she won a red ( same problem) ribbon for and also won the "best pie" award for her division. She also entered a poster on the different parts of a flower and won a red ribbon for that.  Hadassa entered double cocoa cupcakes wich she also got a red ribbon ( man is mom in trouble!) for. She also entered a poster of tools found in a kitchen and what they are used for. She won a red ribbon for that too. Mom entered chocolate chocolate chip pudding cookies and won a blue ribbon.  Granola and won a blue ribbon, dill pickle spears and won a white ribbon, beet relish and won a red ribbon, pickled beets and won a white ribbon, strawberry jelly and won a red ribbon, huckleberry jelly and won a white ribbon, bread and butter pickles and won a red ribbon. I think that was all. I didn't get done all that I wanted to, but I was pretty happy with what I did enter. Everything won a ribbon. That was pretty amazing to me.

So that was our fair adverture for this year. I am already working on ideas for next year. Did anyone else enter anything in their county fair? Just curious.

Have a blessed day!
