Monday Moaning

I'm having a hard time getting rolling today.  Depression is getting me down so I've been struggling lately.

Today we will be doing some plain old reading, writing and 'rithmetic as well as the Bible.

In addition to our A Beka Stepping Stones reading book and our Bible Reader we will be reading two stories from Biscuit Storybook Collection by Alyssa Satin Capucilli.  The first is Biscuit's Day at the Beach and the second is Time To Paint, Biscuit.  We will also be reading Don and Donna Go To Bat (2.1) by Al Perkins.

For writing today we will be reviewing our cursive letters that are a challenge and writing Psalm 147:1 "Praise the LORD! For it is good to sing praises to our God; For it is pleasant, and praise is beautiful."

Math today is reviewing addition problems that add up to eight (7+1=8, 6+2=8 etc.), as well the matching subtraction problems (8-7=1, 8-6=2 etc.)  We are learning one dozen and one half dozen.  We'll also be learning about the quarter today.

For Bible today we are on page 83 in our BJU Bible Truths entitled "Complaining is Sin!"  We will be reading Exodus 15:22-16:21.
