I finally found a pattern for a dress that I like.   I found it on Ebay.  The one thing that I really wanted was a pattern where I could have long sleeves (because I don't have any dresses with long sleeves for the winter) so this one was perfect.  My sewing, however, is not so perfect.  I'm not sure how this will come out, but I'm excited to actually try.  I also have to try and decipher the pattern itself.  This weekend while I'm out shopping I'll pick out the fabric.  I can't wait to get started!

I have this same pattern! I have tried to make this dress twice without any luck because the sleeves seem to be too tight. They are fine as long as I don't reach for anything. I wouldn't say that I have flabby arms either. So I just don't know what the problem is. Let us know how this turns out, please.
Blessings,
Miki

I have that pattern and found the fit to be pretty good. My biggest "issue" was in the odd (to me at least) open darts in the bodice. I've never done darts like that before. I simply did them the way I know how and it didn't turn out too bad.

I think you'll like the pattern. SO versatile!

**Miki, I did notice that as well -- I added a bit more width to the back at the shoulder area, and I made the next size up in sleeves. LOL....I do have rather floppy arms, so I like freedom and width :o)
