Ours was pretty busy here at home. We ended up replacing our back screen door. This turned out to be a huge project since we didn't just replace the screen door, but the entire jamb too. We didn't plan on it, but the jamb was in bad shape when we bought the house and it needed to be done. Not only do we have a new screen door, but our back door now closes properly. There are still a few things left to be done, but both doors work great...and I have a screen in the screen door. It's one of those screen doors where when you pull down the storm window, it pulls down the screen. Very cool.
It rained a lot over the weekend so we didn't get a lot of ourside work done, including mowing the lawn. No laundry because I couldn't hang it outside. But I did get a good chunk of the garage cleared out...tossing lots of unusable junk into the trash can. It made a big difference. I did find a box of pictures that got ruined...that was a bit depressing. But all in all I feel good that we are making progress on the garage.
Since hubby was finishing up the door yesterday evening I got the grill going and made chicken and potatoes. The chicken was marinated all day in Italian dressing before I grilled it and hubby said it was some of the best chicken he's had in a long time. Hubby sure knows what to say to make a girl feel good.
