Strawberry Lemonade RecipesPosted on Wednesday 23 May 2007 at 11:19 AM in In The Kitchen - Post CommentOne of my favorite summertime drinks!Emeril's Strawberry Lemonade Recipe 2 cups water 1 cup sugar 1 tablespoon grated lemon peel 1 cup fresh lemon juice 1 pint fresh strawberries, hulled and halved 2 cups cold sparkling water or club soda Ice Mint sprigs, garnish Whole strawberries, garnish In a medium saucepan, bring the water and sugar to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the sugar dissolves. Add the lemon peel and lemon juice, stir, and remove from the heat. Let cool completely, then strain into a clean pitcher. In a blender, puree the pint of strawberries and add to the pitcher with the lemon juice. Stir well to combine and refrigerate until well chilled. Add the sparkling water and stir well. Pour over glasses filled with ice and serve, garnished with mint and strawberries. Easy Strawberry Lemonade I 1 12-ounce can frozen lemonade concentrate 2 25-ounce bottles sparkling water 6 to 8 fresh strawberries lemon slices (optional) Place the frozen concentrate in a pitcher and mix according to the label directions, replacing water with the sparkling water. Put the strawberries in a blender and puree until very smooth. Mix the strawberry puree into the lemonade. Garnish with lemon slices (if desired) and serve. Yield: Makes 6 servings Strawberry Lemonade II 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice 1/4 cup sugar 2 cups water 2 tablespoons Hershey's strawberry syrup Mix ingredients together in a pitcher. Serve over ice. Serves 2 Strawberry Lemonade III Combine a pint of washed and hulled strawberries with a 6 oz. can of frozen pink lemonade and 3 cups of water in a blender. Whirl until smooth. Taste for sweetness and add sugar, if desired. Pour over ice cubes in glasses. Serve at once. Makes 4 servings.
