I used store bought yogurt as my started and followed the instructions at Crystal's website to make it. Hubby was actually sceptical, wondering if homemade yogurt was actually worth the time to make...we priced it out and it is so he is a happy hubby. Today he enjoyed homemade yogurt with frozen strawberries and fresh bananas in it.
