I've been bit by the gardening bug...I officially have Spring Fever!Posted on Wednesday 21 March 2007 at 9:33 AM in Gardening - Post Comment My garden...waiting.... I'm so ready to be out in my garden getting my hands dirty. The seeds are bought, the peppers and tomatoes are started in my living room. The little sprouts are already popping through the dirt. I'm going to be starting some flowers this weekend. I've drawn up plans on where I'm going to plant everything in my garden this year. I'm hoping to expand it a good amount this year. The daffodils are already poking through the soil and I'm waiting for the crocuses to appear. The rabbits ate them last year so I'm hoping that they forget where they are this year. It's time to clean up the yard from all the winter "debris" and get that taken care of. I think it's also a good time to get the bushes in front of the house trimmed back. It's still a little early to dig up the garden...the soil is too wet. When it is moist but crumbly, then it will be ready. I think it's also a little early to get the spinach and lettuce into the garden.
