Presidential Nausea

I don't normally blog about politics...but this is a real bee in my bonnet right now. This potential slim pickins in the presidential campaign really leaves me with a sour taste in my stomach.
The Republican party has been disappointment to conservatives like me...which is why I don't have a party affiliation anymore. I don't vote for any pro-choice candidate no matter how conservative they portray themselves. I also don't vote for any one who doesn't believe that marriage should only be between one man and one woman. But the thought of having Bill/Hillary Clinton round two or Obama in the White House really scares me. So if your only viable candidates are a pro-choice republican and "Billary", what do you do? Our strong two party system makes it virtually impossible for a third party candidate to be viable. So do you stand your ground and vote for a third party candidate you know will never be elected knowing that your vote could help someone like "Billary" get elected? Or do you vote for the strongest candidate even if they aren't truly concervative to keep the likes of "Billary" out of office? I really hope things change drastically between now and then...like a very strong conservative candidate...or Jesus calling us home. Ok...back to your regularly scheduled home-keeping blog.

I would never vote for a woman.....ever.
I will be looking to see who has the best 'track record' with Israel. I want someone in power who is friendly and protective of Israel. You are right, it is slim pickins'. I can tell you who I *would not* vote for easier than who I would in this election!
Jesus come quickly!

a lot of us think there should be a valid choice that says 'no faith in any of you.'
Voting here is not compulsory, but if you don't vote and there is a low turnout, they say people are 'apathetic'.
Well it is not apathetic to believe, quite passionately in fact, that you have not been given a decent candidate to choose from!!!
So Candidates A, B, C, D, whatever and a 'check box for disillusioned with all of the above, no viable candidate offered' would really show whether we are apathetic, or just fed up!
