I personally don't care what Maher has to say but I was very angry at what he said about President Bush...encouraged by Leno. I'm REALLY tired of people who make their living in front of a camera attacking and ridiculing those in authority. It doesn't matter whether you like them or not...it's just wrong!I work hard to teach my son manners and respect for those who are in authority. I work hard to teach him that no matter whether you like someone or not, it's NOT appropriate to call someone names or purposely insult them. I can't tell you how my blood pressue boils when news programs/entertainment programs and what not continuously insult and degrade people...especially those who are in authority over our country. Why isn't anyone offended? And we wonder why our schools are full of kids who have no respect for their teachers or even their parents?  One of the many reasons, huh?If it wasn't for the fact that we use our TV for education programming/DVD's...I wouldn't even bother having one. Most of the programing on the networks doesn't do anything but promote disrespect, encourage rebellion and raise my blood pressure. Train up a child in the way he should go...Proverbs 22:6
