Coffee Maker Update

Back on Christmas Eve our coffee maker...the one Consumer Reports recommended as one of their best buys...died.  (http://www.homesteadblogger.com/annreathome/38062/What+do+ya+mean+NO+COFFEE%3F%3F%3F%3F.html) We had just bought it in July.  So we decided to try one of the other ones they recommended. 



We ordered the Black & Decker SmartBrew Plus.  This is the first coffee maker we've had that you can program to make the coffee automatically in the morning.  Great for me if I want to sleep in.  Bad for me because I would miss spending time with Hubby in the morning.  I'll still get up and pack him a lunch, but now the coffee will be made already when we get up.  I just have to remember to set it up the night before.  So far this coffee maker is ok.  The coffee...well, it tastes like coffee.  Now...I think it's time for a cuppa tea.

Hi Ann! We just went through a series of coffee maker troubles. I did buy the SmartBrew one too and had to take it back. I had the thermal pot and it didn't get the coffee hot because it had no hot plate on it! We have finally after about 5 or 6 trys found a good one. What an adventure!
