Quiet Time and Bible Study for Busy Moms

I'll admit that I don't get to pray and study the Bible like I want to...and I know a lot of moms are in this same boat. I love the idea of getting up before anyone else and spending time with the Lord, but I have so much trouble getting up in the morning. So I have to find ways to let the Lord into my busy life.
Here are some ideas I've found helpful for me:

Ask For Help - If you aren't able to carve out time to spend with the Lord, ask for His help.
Bible on CD - This is an amazing double blessing. Even if you can only get the NT on CD, it is well worth while. You can listen anytime: while washing dishes, folding laundry, in the car etc. The double blessing is that your children will be hearing it also. I do believe there are audio Bibles that you can listen to over the internet, but I don't have any links for them.
Bibles Everywhere - Place Bibles in different places around the house (like the bathroom) so that if you do have a few minutes you can pick one up and read. If you have a Bible reading plan, tuck that into your Bibles.
No Other Gods...or Books - While I enjoy reading books, I have made a rule for myself that I don't read any other books until I have read the Bible, and I only read other books the same amount of time that I spent reading the Bible. If I don't have time for the Bible, I definately don't have time for other books...no matter who the author is.
www.oneplace.com - Radio pastors and devotionals that you can listen to online. My computer is in our office, so this is also where I fold and iron laundry, clip coupons etc. while I listen. Most of these are downloadable (some for a cost) and you can put them in an MP3 player and listen anywhere. J. Vernon McGee/Thru the Bible is one of my favorites. If your favorite radio pastor isn't listed there, you can always google their website and see if they have sermons/studies available there. Your own church may have sermons/studies available on tape or CD.
Praise and Worship Music - Turn off the TV, and even the radio. Have music playing in the background during your day. Not basic "fluffy" Christian music, but good praise and worship music.
Read Alouds - Now that Boo is reading well, part of his homeschooling is reading aloud. Many days this consists of Psalms and Proverbs which we discuss as he reads. This can be done while I cut veggies, wash dishes, sweep the floor etc.
Family Quiet Time - Teach your children to have their own quiet time with the Lord and put this in your daily schedule. Younger children can look at Bible story books, listen to Bible stories and Bible verses on tape. Older children can read Bible story books or read the bible itself.
Find The Balance - What things are taking over your time? Most of us are way too busy. We feel that we have to be involved in everything and have a hard time saying "no". We also have time wasters like TV, internet, phone calls etc. Find the balance by deciding what is important and getting rid of the "clutter"
Pray and Worship Unceasingly - in the shower, while preparing food, while tidying the house, in the car, while vacuuming etc.
Matthew 6:19-21 Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

I remember reading a book by an Anglican rector's wife and she said that standing at the ironing board was like standing on holy ground. She advised using the time for ironing for prayer. As you iron everyone's clothes use the time to pray for them in the situations they would be wearing them. I liked the idea!
