Denim Quilt

I've been wanting to make my son a denim quilt for his bed. I've only made one other quilt in my life and that was a little baby quilt I made for my goddaughter. I've been collecting old jeans and cutting them up into squares for a few years now but I never had any idea what I was going to do with them. Every once in a while I search the net for ideas but I've never found anything that fit what I wanted...until now. I just recently came across a website for a denim rag quilt and as soon as I saw it...I knew that was the quilt I wanted to try and make for Boo. It looks easy enough for this novice sewer to try. I'm planning to pick up some flannel fabric tomorrow and I'll probably start putting it together this weekend. I think I'll be able to get it finished in time for Christmas....maybe! I'll keep ya posted. lol

Good luck on your quilt. I would love to make a quilt. I am just to chicken to do it by myself and everyone I know does not quilt.
