Results - Oats & Apples Breakfast Bars

The results are in from our families testing of this recipe (found here). 

Me - Really easy to make.  Tastes good.  This is an especially good recipe for me to make for breakfast when we have out of town company.  It wasn't quite what I'd hoped for though for hubby's breakfast.  The bars are crumby and wouldn't travel well.

Boo - "Pretty good.  Can I have more?"  (He's so elaborate!)

Hubby - Hubby was worried that they would be too sweet like the sticky fruit and nut bars you get from the store.  He said they were very good and not too sweet, thinks they should be bake a bit longer.  Agrees that while they are good, it's not something you can take and eat on the way to work.

Thanks for the recipe, my Hannah absolutely loved them, and so did I ~ yep, they won't travel terribly well, I did bake them longer and they did get a little more "solid" but the crumbly top would still make it too messy to eat in the truck.

I appreciate it though, adding it to my recipe collection!
