We're studying apples...

Since it's fall and I'm in the mood for apples...and apple cider...and apple pie...sorry...Anyway, I decided to do a unit study on Apples. Since it is nearby, we are planning to visit the memorial gravesite of Johnny Appleseed, and there is also a local apple festival coming up. There really is a wealth of stuff on the internet to put together any kind of study.  I googled "Johnny Appleseed" and found lots of great information and even pictures.  We just finished learning about him and now Boo wants to plant apple trees all over our backyard. LOL
