Colleges Coveting Home-Schooled Students

Came across this article and wanted to share.  I'm not surprised that colleges are aggressively competing for homeschoolers in quest for best students.  I'd like to see more scholarships available specifically to homeschoolers.

I was happy to see a clipping in a newspaper here saying that UCR here in So. Cal. is looking for homeschool students and are welcoming them with open arms. I think that it is awesome that people are starting to recognize that homeschooling is not just for religious fanatics (I guess I would be one) it is also for parents wanting their children shcooled with the right subjects!
