Happy Tuesday!Posted on Tuesday 19 September 2006 at 10:54 AM in A Little Bit Of Everything - Post CommentToday is starting out to be a beautiful day...cold but the sun is shining. I thought I heard on the weather today that it was going to be rainy, so I'm going to enjoy this sunshine while it's here.We are on our third week of homeschool and things are going well. I made up a schedule and we've been trying to stick to it. So far so good. I'm not a schedule person so we are taking this one week at a time.  I'm planning on doing some baking today. The house was pretty chilly this morning when I got up and doing some baking warms it up nicely. I'm planning on making some regular wheat bread, and I have a taste for nice, warm cinnimon rolls. I don't have a recipe for cinnimon rolls so if anyone has a tried and true recipe, I'd love to try it. Our garden is almost finished for the year. I have to say that I didn't do very well planning things out and it ended up being one big mess. But we did get some nice tomatoes and lots of hot peppers for hubby. Next year hubby is going to help build some sturdy frames for the tomato plants so they don't topple over on each other. And I won't plant them so close together. I'm wondering if it is too late to start a fall crop of greens like lettuce and spinach...we're in northern Indiana. I really love spinach and I'm really sad that I can't buy any right now. I'm working on a batch of crocheted dish clothes. I'm hoping to add thise to a growing collection of crocheted things for the fall craft show season. I usually am booked full of craft shows from September until Christmas, but since we've moved to Indiana two years ago I've only been in a couple. I've got a couple lined up in November so I'm hoping they go well. Dinner tonight is Chili...since it's so chilly! HA! It was in the 40's this morning so I figured today would be a good day for it. Plus it will be a nice easy dish to take to hubby tonight before he takes Boo to his first Cub Scouts meeting. Please continue to pray for my best friend's mom. I haven't heard any updates yet. And please pray for hubby too. His job is getting really stressful and he's burning out quickly.
