We are officially scouting!Posted on Wednesday 13 September 2006 at 1:23 PM in Homeschooling - Post CommentWe signed Boo up for Cub Scouts yesterday. Because he is in 2nd grade he is a Wolf Cub. We were under the impression that it would be best to put him in as a Tiger Cub since he is 6, but the Cub leaders felt that it would be just fine to put him in as a Wolf Cub. So we did.I've never been involved in Cub Scouts. In my family it was Girl Scouts. My mom was a leader and I was a Girl Scout from Brownies to Seniors. Hubby will be going to Scout meetings with Boo. That will give me some "mom time".  This is exciting. Unfortunately most family and friends have a Scout too so it is going to be a challenge trying to sell popcorn. So, would you like to buy some popcorn?? |
