My Birthday

It was actually a great day, even though we were all sick.  Hubby has been on vacation this week and we've been getting little projects done around the house...which for me is a great birthday gift in itself! 

I had really just planned on resting, but testerday after the meds kicked in we all felt a little better so we were off do to a little bit of "mom" shopping.  I stopped at our local homeschool store to pick up one of the workbooks I needed for second grade, then it was off to the resale shop.  I really wasn't in a shopping mood, but I did manage to find a couple dresses I liked.  While I was there, hubby and son took off to do some shopping of their own.  From there is was off to a couple other little stores and that was about all I could handle.  For dinner we stopped at the buffet place there in the strip mall and had a nice dinner...and lots of yummies for dessert.  Totally exhausted we were all ready to go home.

Once home hubby and son presented me with a lovely little bouquet of mums that Boo picked out, cards and a new radio for my kitchen.  Hubby and son are precious!  I love them to bits.  More meds and we were all ready for bed.  Thank you Lord for another year.
