I hear ya Spunky!!! No AC here either!

Everyone seems to be trying to beat the heat.  And it's nice to know that I'm not the only one without air conditioning.  Read Spunky's blog from yesterday here.  We did much the same thing she did yesterday...and planning more today. Yesterday we sought refuge in our air conditioned car for a drive to join hubby and get some McBurgers for lunch in their air conditioning.  From there we hit air conditioned Wally World and a few other air conditioned stores.  But you can only circle those places so many times without your son asking, "Can we go now?"  Much different from his normal, "I have to go NOW!"  The library was crowded and Boo got bored there quickly, "I'm done, can we go now?"  Sigh.  When hubby asked what was for dinner, I replied "air conditioning" and we were off in our air conditioned truck (because the car isn't "manly") to sit and eat in more air conditioning.  We returned again to Wally World and by the time we returned home, the fans were beginning to pull in the cooler air from outside.  After taking a bath in baby powder, I climbed into bed to try and sleep.

And I'm off and sweating again today.  At least I don't have to worry about my coffee (yes, I'm drinking coffee!) getting cold.  Looking forward to the high 80's predicted for tomorrow.


I call this one "White Boy in Water."
