What Makes a High School Great?Posted on Wednesday 2 August 2006 at 11:42 AM in Homeschooling - Post CommentNewsweek has made a list of the top 1,200 high schools across the country (click here to read the article and see the list). Since I'm originally from Michigan, and now living in Indiana, I thought I would go through the list and see what schools were on the list from Michigan and Indiana. I liked seeing lots of schools from Michigan making the list, but being from Michigan I also know that most of these schools are located in affluent areas. $$$ does make a difference...at least in Michigan. Detroit school officials have been saying this for years. I'm not familliar enough with Indiana.
