Beautiful Monday

Today was an absolutely lovely day outside.  The sun was shining, the sky was pretty clear, and it wasn't to hot outside.  I was able to get several loads of laundry washed and outside on the line.  I actually ran out of laundry soap, so tomorrow I'll be making another batch.  Then I'll be washing all the bedding.

I was able to get most of the garden done.  There are tomatoes, carrots, onions, peppers, cucumbers, beans, broccoli and spinach.  My chives are also doing well, but my oregano was lost over the winter.  So I planted more herbs this year including thyme, sage, rosemary and more oregano.  I'm hoping to plant some parsley and basil this year too.   If I find my camera (yes...it's been misplaced) I'll take a picture of everything.  I'm really please how it's all coming together.   I love gardening.

Sunday we finally tried the church we've been wanted to check out since we've moved here.  While I thought it would be a good fit for our family, I thought differently afterward.  While I was hoping for a church that would minister to the needs of our whole family, it seemed more like an adult focused with little for the children or family.  It also bothers me some that they do not like having children (10 and under) in the sanctuary during the teaching time.   After the sermon, there is time to retreive your children and bring them back to the sanctuary for the worship.   I like having my 6 year old son with me in church, I think most of the time that is the best place for him to be.   So we'll be praying about it this week.
