• Friday, April 25, 2008 - Frogs and Toads

Today my Dad caught a toad.  We named it Beans.  We were excited because Eli, got a frog/bug habitat for Easter.  We let Beans jump on the schoolroom floor to see how far it could jump.   I was holding Beans and it jumped out of my hands onto Carlie's head.  She SCREAMED!!! It was funny, and she laughed after it was over. Here is Beans in the habitat. The reasons I know it is a toad instead of a frog is, that toads have bumpy dry skin and Frogs have wet and slimy skin. Another is frogs eyes bulge out much more than toads.  I like knowing the difference! I HOPE YOU HAVE A GOOD DAY ! Love, Cameo

I think I would scream too if a warty-toad landed on my head!!!! BLECHHH!! Today me and my sisters and dad where gonna pick berries.. But it pouring out rain, SOOOoooo, I don't think today's the day we're gonna pick berries! Lydia~

I have never been able to tell the difference between a frog and a toad. Or a crocodile and alligator. I DO know that I'm not fond of any of those 4 things. All the hopping and slithering, I can do without!

Hi Cameo, I like your blog. I like knowing the diffarence between Frogs and Toads too. I havn't seen any Frogs or Toads this year, yet anyway. I bet I'll see one very soon.
