I am very "Taxed" !

I am so sorry I have not been able to blog for a few days.  SO much going on.  Spring break for the kids and trying to get TAXES done while there is no school this week ( and since I homeschool, no teaching for me this week).  Every year I say I am not going to do the taxes the next year but that I will take them to someone.  Again this year I decided to do them myself. 

My brother is doing very well now and I wanted to give you guys that update.  It is hard to believe that after having surgery from 8 am -3pm and then having such and bad day and night following the surgery (SO MUCH PAIN), that he had a very long haul ahead of him.  He does in some ways but I am amazed that since Monday's surgery they already have in Therapy learnig how to get around with this traction cage on his leg.  He has responded to the therapy well and he was supposed to be SENT HOME TODAY!!!  That just boggles my brain.

I am praising the Lord, that I have remained in victory through the week despite Mrak's surgery, the smaller car costing us $650+, the van (yep Betsy is misbehaving also), the taxes and a very full schedule (including a dentist apporintment ).  I was offered a brownie tonight at a meeting.  I did decide to have i but only 1/2.  It is small victories like this that is key to my success.  The Lord is so satisfying me that I do not need the comfort of the food any more.

You have a full plate! I am so glad to hear your brother is doing better. I had surgery on my leg 13 weeks ago and still am on bed rest! I can't wait to be up. Taxes are no fun. You are brave to do them, it is too much for me, lol. I pray your weekend will be better. God is so good to us. God Bless. mj
