More lessons learned - Eating doesn't take away stress

I missed blogging yesterday. It was a fine day but very consuming. Praise be to God I was able to accomplish all that I needed to do. As the clock ticked on yesterday and I felt under pressure ( I had to teach a lesson for our homeschool group that I felt totally unqualified to teach which meant studying first! and then there were other things, like my son's B'day coming up,etc.. Anyways, I caught myself not stopping to eat when I should have, not making the wisest choice, and then being hungry and wanting to just munch, munch, munch. I realized what was happening though (YEAH!!!!) and with God's strength I refueled with a good amount of water, took my vitamins (esp. the B's to deal with the stress) and then just prayed and resisted till the temptations subsided. I still wanted the chips but I was able to make a wise decision - mainly that I wanted to be healthier and thinner more than any chips!! I also started yesterday out with the trainer at the Y. It was wonderful. Jeannie put me at ease and the program she suggested really was not too hard or intimidating. I thought that I would be struggling to move today but I am not ; just a little sore in the arms. In fact I wonder if we used enough weight. I will talk with Jeannie about it in the AM before I go to be with my CHG.

I wanted to share some more information about Jesus being the perfect lamb. I found this:

Listen to these recorded testimonies of people declaring Him perfect.

1. Pilate said “I find no fault in Him at all” John 18:38
2. Pilate spoke for Herod “I have found no fault in this Man, and no, neither did Herod, for nothing deserving of death has been done by Him.” Matt. 23:15
3. Judas after the betrayal calls out in consternation, “ I have betrayed innocent blood.” Matt. 27:4
4. The repentant thief on the cross says: “We are being punished justly for our deeds but this man (Jesus) has done nothing wrong. (Luke 23:41)
5. The heathen Roman soldier even declared, “Surely this is the Son of God.” Mat. 27:54

Jesus was inspected and declared perfect during those four days between the triumphal entry and the crucifixion.

All have to confess there is no fault, spot or blemish in Him. Jesus was the lamb of God, the Passover lamb, Whose Blood alone can lift us out of bondage.

Journey Through The Religious Festivals of the Sanctuary by Ulrike

Praise God, He wants to rescue us if only we look to HIM ALONE.
I am so glad He has redeemed me and is even now rescuing me from the enemies lies that have for so long held me captive.

Now one more thought. My brother could use all of your prayers. We thought that he would go into surgery today to finally set the leg that is broken and splintered. But it is such a mess that the one doctor who could possibly do it at Laurens County hospital has said he just does not trust himself with this one. He has never seen anything like this before, so he contacted a group of 3 doctors in the Trama unit at Greenville. @ of them have also turned it down because they feel it is out of their capabilites. We are waiting to hear what the 3rd will say or where they will suggest he be transfered to. Meanwhile he is still in traction, still battling swelling and his leg is almost black from what I assume is just horrible bruising
