It's been a long time since I've written here.  I didn't realize this!  I need to be better about writing.  I've been writing on my homeschoolblogger site but have neglected this blog. 

A lot has happened, but the main thing is that we found out that my hubby has prostate cancer.  We will go tomorrow to the doctor to find out the results of the tests that checked to see if the cancer has spread.  Obviously, we are praying that is not the case.  It's been a very stressful 2 weeks!

My son took this picture of us on our 25th wedding anniversary last week. 

I'm holding the dozen roses my hubby gave me!  Aren't they gorgeous?  He also gave me a beautiful dragonfly necklace!  The body of the dragonfly is made of blue topaz.  I am totally blessed to have this man as my husband - not because of the gifts, but because of everything he is!

Fall has arrived in Arizona!  We've been having cool, crisp nights and it's glorious!  We haven't had to turn the air conditioning on for about the past 3 weeks, which is lovely!  The trees on the mountain above our house are turning the beautiful fall colors.  I'll try and take some pictures, soon, and post them here.
