my 16 year old had the flu.. at least he was able to throw up in the bucket each time instead of on the floor. I'm just hoping that the rest of us do not get it.. my 9 year old has awana grand prix on Saturday. I told him I bet that he will be sick intime for that. I think that he can have anther kid race his car if he is too sick to go.

the big old fat lip....

well I gave my 4 year old a big fat lip.. He gave me a toy to take apart and I was pulling on one end and he was pulling on the other and all the sudden it gave way and poped him right on the mouth.. he didn't eat supper because it was hurt but he did have his peice of after supper pudding pie..

today it was 55...

and sunny! Winter weather in ohio if you don't like it, wait and it will change.

I went upstairs to get dressed and my 4 year old got the food coloring out of the cupbard above the stove and gave it to his 2 year old sister.. I came back down stairs to a little girl covered with blue ink up to her elbows and all around her mouth.  most of it came off in a bath but.. ugg the joys of small ones.

I'm happy that its Friday. They still might ask hubby to work on Sat.. but at least he will be home by noon. The kids were so excited to see snow again. I'm glad I get to stay home and not go any place today.

Oh and a funny thing happened this morning. Phillip wanted some toast so I put bread in the toaster and it right away starts smoking.. Hummm..... look inside and somebody put a handfull of popcorn inside the toaster. I wonder who did that?

I made a lot of smoke but didn't set of the smoke detector.. the joys of having kids.. you never know what you are going to find.
