This is the day the Lord has made let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Actually, I haven't any idea where that even is in the bible...or even if it's in there at all.  I've always liked saying it though. It kind of get's the day off to a good start. I also like sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

I plan on making good use of this rainy day.

1-clean out the pots and pans cabinet in the kitchen

2-clean out the "others" cabinet in the kitchen

3-clean out the basket where I keep all the cloth napkins

4-clean out the drawers, including the silverware drawer, in the kitchen

5-make chocolate frosting and frost a white cake

6-make home made soup

7-make bread in the bread maker

8-make chocolate chip cookies

9-vacuum and dust the whole house...it's a small house

10-wash the kitchen floor

I'm also going to be finishing up any laundry while all of this is going on.

I need to be at work by three so I'm going to have a busy morning.

2 October 2008 - A full day ahead

Posted by MtAiryMom

You have a full and productive day planned. I'm hoping to get several things completed myself :) Your verse of choice today is in the Bible and has always been one of my favorites too. Here it is:

Psalm 118:23-24 (King James Version)
23 This is the LORD's doing; it is marvelous in our eyes.

24 This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

I think it not only honors the day we're given but also helps us remember that it is a marvelous day filled with his glorious creations.

Have a good morning and God bless you :)
