My first entry!!

Well here I am. I wasn't going to have a blog yet, because of baby and such but I think that it will be benefitial for me. Before anything else I will apologize for grammar and spelling mistakes; French is my first language and I still have lots to learn about the English language.

Now, a bit about me... I'm Christina, just passed the big 40, and my husband and I have been married for 11 years. We have been blessed with: dd9, dd6, ds3 and dd born in October. Our children are home educated using a Christian umbrella school called Gateway.

We live in SW Tennessee on a farm and we raise Nubian goats, chickens and our faithful "Rackety" Great Pyrenees is their gardian. Our garden will be bigger than ever this year, Yahweh willing, and I plan on canning lots of food. Last year was a terrible year with gardening because I just didn't have the oumph needed to stand the heat while being pregnant.

My hobbies are sewing, medicinal herbs and reading. I LOVE sewing and it's a good thing because I have to make most of our clothes since we can't find suitable garments locally.

Well, it's 9:10 PM and I should turn off the lights. Morning comes early and I want to be fully rested to attack a work / education day.

Welcome Christina....look forward to reading more from you! :) I too make (some) of my childrens clothing.....I'd like to make more, I hope you'll share on that more......I love to sew, although, admittedly am not the best seamstress....! I can whip up a cute jumper dress and my girls love them...I am currently working on a skirt for myself...and 2 more jumper dresses for the girls....
