New Seedlings

I checked the flats of seeds I planted Saturday and we have new babies!  There are a few more calendulas, a few tomatoes and a couple dill plants peeking out of the soil.  It may sound silly, but I get so excited when I see the first green part of the plant grow magically from the little seed.  So we are left with parsley and celery yet to sprout, but I think those take awhile...

Hi how are Ya? Now when you say you started seedlings is there heat? cause they would die? and where will you leave them to grow or did I miss a post? lol..

Hi Brenda!
I guess I should have said that they are inside :o) I am lucky to have a place at work where my shelf is set up - so they are right around room temperature. It isn't quite warm enough outside to do anything, but we have been having temps in the high 30's so the snow is really melting. They are calling for snow next week, but we will see...

Seedlings

Yay for seedlings! I have basil, thyme and chives coming up. Yippee! Can't wait for spring. When can you plant outside? In the part of WV where we live it can be mid March to early April, depends on the weather.
