What is wrong with this picture?

We discovered after getting one wall panel installed, that the wall pads have the wrong colored grout.  They have dark and we ordered light like the bottom part in the picture.  On top of that, they are the wrong size...  We are waiting to hear back from the dealer tomorrow as to what they are going to do to fix this...

So, what is your opinion:  do you think the light or the dark grout looks better?

I would choose the dark. They are both pretty but the dark will show less dirt.

that the order got messed up, I am leaning towards the dark color too ;) I hope the problem gets fixed quickly!

I would go with the dark. Besides the fact of dirt, I think it blends better with the carpet and surrounding colors of the room.

I like the light grout. Yes, it will show the dirt more, but you still have to clean up. Go with the one you like.

I like the light color. I think it causes the colors of the stone to stand out more than the dark.

Don't you know ... Murphy's Law eventually kicks in on projects. One of these days Murphy's just gonna have to move on somewhere else. I personally like the lighter grout. But, everyone's taste is different. Either way you go, it'll look nice. I really like it. Good luck!

I am a HUGE dark grout fan! My husband is a professional ceramic tile installer and you wouldn't believe how many people choose a light grout and then don't take care of it properly (it will stain easily if not sealed regularly) and then want the grout removed and replaced with dark grout! I always have him use dark grout here at home!

Anyway, I will tell you what is wrong with your picture...LOL... you have less snow than we do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really like the light colored grout also. As someone else posted, it really brings out the colors and shapes of the stones. :) I hope they get your order corrected soon! It is going to look really fabulous once it is all done. Congrats!!

I love your little wood stove corner! The light grout does look kind of on the "bright and cheery" side, but I think overall I like the dark. But we all have different tastes. Whichever way you go it will certainly be very nice looking!
