Awesome Birthday Present - Soap Molds

9:48 AM, Wednesday, February 7, 2007 .. Posted in Crafts .. 9 comments .. Link

My brother is so talented!!  I sent him an idea of what I wanted for my birthday - a picture of a couple wooden soap molds that I saw on a website.  A couple days later a package arrived and when I opened it I was so excited!  He had made me both the 2 pound and the 5 pound sizes!  Wow!  They are so cool!  Can you tell I'm excited?    I can't wait to try them out....

Wow! Those look great. I had a guy in town here make me some wooden molds a few years back, but they did not turn out so nice. He did a great job.
Blessings,
Lydia

You are very talented and a very craft orientated person - I wish I had your talent, what a great gift to have.

Wow! How talented he is. I bet those would've cost a pretty penny if you'd had to buy them. Happy (late) Birthday!!

Oh wow!! What an awesome gift. Can you tell your brother that my b-day was Jan 31 and I would love a set of those as a belated gift?? LOL

I have been looking at different websites for some molds but all seem pretty pricey. I guess I'll continue to use my cardboard boxes.

I'm so happy for you and I know you can't wait to use them. Congratulations and happy Birthday!!

Beth

I love those soap molds! Your brother is pretty clever! And the quilt! Just wonderful I have never completed a quilt, and I have plenty of fabric to make one. One of these days...
