25" By Morning

The weatherman is predicting up to 25" of snow by morning - we easily have a foot so far.  And they are calling for snow the rest of the week.  I left work a little early to try to beat the rush on the way home - and to get home before it got dark.  The road wasn't plowed for the last few miles, but I just went slow and didn't have any problems.  Gotta love that 4WD!  The police department is warning people not to be on the roads unless it is absolutely necessary and the radio was reading off all the events and meetings that were cancelled.

Rod is trying to fly back home today after spending the weekend at his brother's down in Wrangell helping him get packed to move to Idaho.  Because of the heavy snow, none of the jets were able to get in.  So, I'm just waiting for his call to find out where he ended up...  I just heard on the news that it isn't likely that any of the flights will get in tonight either...  hmmm

If we get snow it might be 5" and a miracle. I wouldn't want it all the time but I sure would like to see it occasionally.

They are predicting snow here tonight but the most we'll get is an inch and I would be amazed if we even get that!!
