Charity and I are off tomorrow morning to go to Seattle for the Def Leppard/Journey concert. Then Friday we are flying to Portland to visit my brother and sister-in-law. I will be bringing some of my homemade goodies and fish for them. While we are there, we will be visiting a U-Pick farm and hopefully picking blackberries - we'll see! Then home Sunday afternoon. No work on Monday, so I'll have a day to relax before having to go back to work. I'm really looking forward to seeing the SUN!!!

Is that what you call spending a day taking care of almost 200 pounds of produce? I always knew there was something wrong with you! I enjoyed our mini vacation, even picking the blackberries. (Although next time I think I might skip that part or just buy some to put in my container. . .) I hope we can make this a yearly event. Maybe next year I'll be set up so that I can buy in bulk and freeze it for the upcoming year. Will you help me?

Yes, we should make it a yearly event. We definitely need to figure out how to ship it home cheaply - 200 lbs just isn't much :o) Can't wait to make the blackberry jam!
