Life in Southeast Alaska

Busy day!

Bought fruit at Super Bear – 10 pounds strawberries at $1.49/lb, and 25 pounds peaches at $0.99/lb.  Mixed up batch of pickled eggs and put in fridge to cure for 5 days.  Started batch of yogurt – 4 cups.  Made batch of cream cheese, but it boiled so don’t know if it will turn out or not.  Made batch of Spiced Strawberry Jam – four 12 oz jars, and one 8 oz jar – yum!
