Ginormous Egg

Here are the eggs that were laid today - one of the Aracaunas laid a huge one - it was a double yolker - but have you ever seen one that big?  It weighed nearly 4 ounces!

I wonder if you will get any more that size! =) I want chickens too. Hubby isn't too thrilled.. says they are so messy. So I dunno. *sigh*

Every once in a while we get one that size and sometimes it's not a double yolk. It is amazing.
