Good evening.  Today I got to have the pleasure of getting another project off my stack.  Both of our little ones got a Christmas quilt with binding on the edges, much the the unwillingness of my bobbin. *smile*

Now I am hoping to get the little bit of laundy folded and fishished up and I also hope to get another thing off my pile of projects to get to.  I have a quilt that my great great cousin did most of by hand and then I took to it with my machine, it puckers REALLY bad and it is done at a diagonal.  I don't see enough blocks to finish the pattern she started long ago so will now proceed to where the pattern could end and as I am used to straight edges I will "square" it off.  It will actually be a rectangel. *smile*  Then I will add some boarders to it to make it complete, but the step right now is to trim it up.  Then I will get to the deciding of what kind of boarder to put on it.  Probably a plain one of some kind as there are several different types of fabric in it already. *smile*  It is a beautiful quilt and I want it to look really nice when it is done. *smile*  This evening we took a drive to see all the different ways people decorate their homes for the most important day of the year...Christmas! *smile*  It was a lot of fun to ride around in our warm van, listening to A Very Veggie Christmas (and singing along of corse*smile*), and enjoying the lights as a family! *smile*

I hope you all are enjoying this beautiful season.  Hoping for snow soon. *smile*  Winter blessings to you all. *smile*  Remember to pray always.-Me-(Mommy of two little blessings)

I love your quilt, the colors are fabulous together. Great job. Im very new to using my sewing machine. I made a few placemats this year for Christmas and am learning but far from the beauty you created - so cute. Great job!

Blessings on your Christmas!

I love my husband and am deeply loved by him. Of this I am certain.

About Me

I am a homemaker who always desires to please my Maker. My goals here are many so I will not list them all. I will; however, tell you that I hope to be an encouragement to those who read. Maybe even get you all thinking about what God's purpose is for you. Please feel free to leave a comment, but know that it is okay if we do not agree as long as we are focused on God in all that we type, do, and say we will have something in common. *smile*
