I have decided to leave my Patriotic music up in running and will do so until our Presidential Election. As morale for the American Public is slightly low, I wanted something to help us reflect on what our Founding Fathers based this country on so many years ago. My decision won't be based on words freely spoke, but on actions that deserve my vote. I will vote based on the Love of my country as well as it's people and for those who freely fight to keep me safe. While I don't enjoy war with anyone, including the innocent, I also want to be sure those who are fighting for my freedom and their families are kept safe. Thats where my vote and that of other Americans is most important. Please Join me in prayer for my country as we embark on hard decisions and fight for the freedoms and privledges set by our Founding Fathers and fought so bravely over the years by American Soldiers. I pray also for friends and family of other soldiers from other countries who also fight for the freedoms of their countries. In God may we ALL trust! Love to each and every one of you no matter what country your from. ~Rebekah
*** Make A Wish Walk ***

We Did It!! We walked with our local Sparkpeople.com Group for Make A Wish Foundation. What a Blessing to walk for charity while getting healthy!
Something new, I've been blessed through dougs insurance to be able to have a personal trainer with hopes to lose 100lbs. I'm off insulin but wish to be off completely of most meds. This is a part of our mind, body and spirit year. Doug and I have decided to work on our bodies to keep up with the children that will be placed with us. While we've put off the classes for a short time, we will start back up with classes once God leads us to. Having a child has never looked more close than it has today. THIS TIME we'll be more equipped to help the children emotionally, physically AND spiritually.
An update: We've found a home church, are seeking Christian Counsel to deal with the underlying issues behind the eating, both doug and I are working together to lose some needed weight and we are enjoying each day, especially now that spring is here. We have SO many fun weekend adventures planned.
We're also cheering our brothers and sister in laws for such great news over the past few months. Dougs older brother is graduating with his Masters in Childrens Ministry, Dougs younger brother Dan and his wife are expecting twins and God is just present in ALL our lives. What a blessing!

YEA!!! Great job on the walk guys!! and That is so great you guys have found a church, and now you are seeking help for your underlying trials. I will pray for you, there is no shame in seeking help especially when that help maybe a God send in blessings. Just remember it is all you to make sure you implement the ideas and what nots from the counselor, (I know my hubby and I see a counselor to but for different reasons ;)
