As morale for the American Public is slightly low, I wanted something to help us reflect on what our Founding Fathers based this country on so many years ago. In doing so, my site is dedicated to those who put their lives on the line each day to save lives. Military Men and Women, Dr.s, Nurses, and other medical staff, Firemen and women, Poliece Men and Women, as well as MANY others. May God Bless and Protect each one as they serve to protect us. My Political decision won't be based on words freely spoken, but on actions that deserve my vote. I will vote based on the Love of my country as well as it's people and for those who freely fight to keep me safe. While I don't enjoy war with anyone, including the innocent, I also want to be sure those who are fighting for my freedom and their families are kept safe and not put in harms way. Thats where my vote and that of other Americans is most important. To save our futures and to be united. Please Join me in prayer for my Country as we embark on hard decisions and fight for the freedoms and privledges set forth by our Founding Fathers and fought so bravely over the years by American Soldiers. I pray also for friends and family of other soldiers from other countries who also fight for the freedoms of their countries. In God may we ALL trust! Love to each and every one of you no matter what country your from. ~Rebekah
***Disney Trip Cancelled***
Friday, April 11, 2008
Well, After all our research and reservations, we've had to cancel our trip to Disney World.
Our Dog needs an expensive surgery on his teeth. His poor mouth smells dead and because of his anxieties, He's got teeth that are cut in half, and I think if it goes much further they could be infected.
We have an appointment next week to deal with both Max's and Sasha's shots, flea & tick meds and heartworm meds. Max also needs one more test for limes disease after his bout with a tick last season (he's now got a series of shots to keep him immune) we also will innauculate sasha for limes disease to be sure she's safe. Apparently this area is pretty bad lately.
So, we'll be taking care of our dogs, decided we'll keep some money in the bank for our future trip to Disney whenever that may be, will buy a nice mattress and two more for the childrens room AND will still use our week off to go on a more low key vacation to Thousand Island, PA Amish Country, Lake George or some cabin in the fingerlakes.
While we're disappointed, we vowed to care for our adopted animals, I would do it for us, our children or them. We can have a Disney Vacation maybe when we adopt our children officially!

It absolutely warms my heart when people take responsibility for their animals like you all have. Sacrifice is hard. Especially when society makes it okay to put pets/animals second or to discard of them when they get to be too much of a hassle. I know your family is disappointed about not getting to go to Disney World, but you all are doing such a wonderful thing that most people nowadays would not do.
Hope you all have a wonderful day!
Take Care
