Abundant Blessings Farm

Well, here it is Monday again.....and I'm behind in my blogging!

Last week was a most excellent week!!!!! We took the whole week off from our school work. That in itself was nice..but we were also preparing for my online friends' arrival on Wednesday. What a treat it was to have both of them here!!! We really enjoyed the time we spent together. It was over way too quickly!!!

On Tuesday, we had major rain. The gulley behind the house washed down sticks, branches, rocks and leaves all over the side yard. Toby and Thomas spent yesterday raking and cleaning that area up so they could finish mowing the yard. It looks much better now!

Friday brought a trip to the creek!!!! We love going to Mt Zion. It's a wonderful place to hang out. We do that quite alot as a summer family activity. It was even better to be there with so many friends!! It was the end of the school year get together, planned by my most thoughtful friend, Misty. Even though we aren't to the end of our school year, it was nice to celebrate this together!

We had a wonderful weekend together. It's so hard to give Honey back to Home Depot on Mondays....  Oh to be financially able to have him home all the time with us. That would be the best ever.

Good news!!! We sold the car yesterday!!! What a blessing this car has been to us. It was given to us by some very dear friends. It ran great!! The entire time we had it, over 3 years, we only replaced the starter, belts, and one tire. That's it. And now, we have some cash to hopefully buy a more fuel efficient car for Honey to drive to work..or me if I am headed to town alone (like for MNO!!!). I'm not sure which direction we will go on the car issue....still thinking and praying about that one.

Tomorrow is my monthly Mom's night out. I LOVE MNO!!!! I can't believe the month of May is over already and it's here so quickly...but I'm happy it is!!

Time to get some more laundry washed so I can get it hung on the line when the sun comes up. It's supposed to rain again this afternoon (fine by me!!!)...I'd just like to have the laundry off the line before it does.
