Prayers for the Chapman family...and others...

Oh, the tragedies of late just break my heart...

This morning, I learned that Christian music singer Steven Curtis Chapman and family lost their youngest daughter to a vehicle accident. I think the worst part is that the family witnessed the accident which took her life. And her brother was driving the SUV....

How very sad.....

You know, I have NO CLUE how those without Jesus get through things like this. And even those who know Jesus...it can bring you closer to Him or drive you away from Him. But those who have no hope of tomorrow, how do they get through it? I know, for me, when we lost our wee babe last year, knowing that he was in the arms of Jesus is what gave me hope. To know that one day, I'll get to hold my sweet babe...how do you get through this with no hope of Heaven and the "other side"?

My prayers are with the Chapman family, as well as my dear, dear friend Cathy as they mourn the loss of their nephew, and for the dixiecajuns family..tomorrow would have been Elgin's birthday. I know this will be an extremely hard day for them. Please join me in keeping these families in prayer. I know that they ALL have hope for tomorrow, for they all know Jesus. But, that doesn't make the grief and missing go away....

I hadnt heard about the accident. Thank you for posting this. I will join you in prayer for the things you mentioned.

Oh, how awful... life is so fragile, isn't it? Our hearts and prayers go out to these families. ~Michelle
