A late night post...

Summer's coming...and I soooo don't like summer. Well, let me re-state that...I don't like the blasted heat of summer. The humidity. The icki-ness. The ugh feeling of being so hot just doing the simplest of tasks. The not wanting to cook cause it's too hot to even think about creating more heat. That's the part of summer I so dislike. I do like the "lazy days of summer" thing. I like the school break thing. I like the fresh produce thing.
So, I guess it's not summer I dislike..it's 100*+ temps that I dislike. Ick. Ick. And triple ick!!

I had a headache tonight..thus my being on the computer at 11:41pm. I'm usually sleeping quite soundly at this time. Not tonight. And when that alarm blares at 3:30, I am sooooo not going to want to get up. But, get up I shall. To prepare Honey's egg sandwich and lunch. To get started on my day. Tomorrow is actually a pretty full day...

We have piano at 9. Then we'll run down to the bank. Then we are headed to town. I made haircut appmts for Toby, Thomas, Rebecca and I. And to get my eyebrows waxed. I haven't had that done in quite awhile. Before haircuts, we'll be hitting the library, CVS, Walgreen's and Wal Mart. Need a few items for our Keepers/Contenders' banquet on Friday. And toilet paper. TP. The very much needed soft stuff for the bathroom. We are on using THE LAST ROLL IN THIS HOUSE. That's not a good thing in a house filled with 6 people!!

School work is still cruising along...slowly but surely...we will finish this school year...we will...we will....we will....oh, will we ever?!

There's a ballpark not far from here. I guess the players don't get up at 3:30 in the morning...cause they were still hooting and hollering long after we went to bed...

Got a graduation notice from the daughter of a friend the other day. Get this...she was born exactly one month after our first DATE. We've been together longer than she's been in the world. And now, she's graduating high school! Where does the time go??

Speaking of that...can you believe we are more than half way through May already? Am I really getting to the age that time flies???!

Oh...and I changed our menu a bit....due to our trip to town, we will not be having the posted meal for tomorrow. I'm not entirely sure what we will be having at this moment in time. I just know that I am not going to feel like making salisbury steak and mashed potatoes and gravy when we get home from all that running!!

Okay...I started this post 20 minutes ago...tis time to finish it and attempt to get some sleep....

You are such a dear friend to me, always so thoughtful.
I feel the SAME way about summer. I just hate the heat. The best thing about summer is that the fall season is next!!! Fall and winter, my favorites.
