Friday....what a great day!

Good afternoon!
It has been a very productive day today...love those!

I finally got mozzarella cheese and butter made. Rebecca helped with the butter. The cheese was quite needed...as we are having pizza tonight...and there's no cheese in the frig! Most of the milk is now used up...I believe there are 2 gallons in the frig. Two gallons were not smelling too sweet...so they are now in a bucket outside with corn soaking in it. The pigs will sure enjoy it! That's the neat part of having a cow. Even if we don't drink the goodness, it will feed the other animals on the farm.

Yesterday, our cat, Belle, had 5 kittens. She is an excellent Mama. The babes are incredibly cute! Yep, Miss Belle is getting quite pampered.

Still have one cat, Lilly, to give birth. She's not anyone's favorite animal....but I am sure her babes will be loved as well.

Two beef cows, Phyllis and Bambi are still to calve. Phyllis, we expect any time. Bambi towards the end of the month. The goats, Goatie and Baby, are due to kid early next month, if I have figured it correctly.
Such an exciting time here!

Love seeing the new little lives bestowed upon us.

We are under a tornado watch this afternoon. Supposed to be a bad thunderstorm...hail and tornadoes. I so do not like this! Praying that the weather just passes right on by, causing no problems for anyone!

It's about time to start pizza dough. I have been using Alton Brown's recipe, but didn't make it up yesterday. So, today, it's back to my usual, from the Kitchen Aid cookbook. I think we all prefer Alton's recipe....but this will be good too!

I am having a few computer issues....so will have pictures up as soon as I figure this out.
