Friends

There are friends that are true blue and by your side no matter what. There are friends who are your prayer warriors and you know you can count on them to go to the Father on your behalf. There are friends you meet in person. There are friends you meet online...and sometimes, you get to meet in person those you've met online.

I had the pleasure of meeting two friends from my online world today. What a treat!!!! Both ladies just as nice and easy to talk to as they are online.

We had a wonderful time of fellowship. I only wish it could happen more often...and I could meet more of my online friends.

The Lord has been very good to me in sending friends my way. Before we moved to TN, I really didn't have many friends...that was in spite of spending most of my high school years and all after in the same town. How sad is that?

But, here, we have such amazing friends. They would, and have, done most anything for us. They are treasured. Some have been friends since before we even moved and met them! Some are more recent. It seems I am always surrounded by those who are friends. What a wonderful feeling that is to me! How comforting!!

Tomorrow is the one year anniversary of our miscarriage. I am really not looking forward to the day...but I know I will get through it fine. I just need to concentrate on the blessings I have...and not cry over what I missed. That's true for so much in life. I can do only what I can do. I have no control over those who choose their own path and leave me behind. The friendship wasn't meant to be nor as good as I thought if it's that easy to end it. And that's okay. Friends sometimes are for a season, they are not life long. I'm more of an all or nothing person, so that can be challenging for me. But, it's okay. I know those I can completely count on...and do!

It's been a long day...that drive to Nashville can wear anyone out...but the drive home was in the rain...and it's late...time for slumber.... :)
