FOUND AND BACK HOME!!!!

Wanted to update on our lost calf...she is back with Mama!!!

Thomas and I did quite alot of hiking today...sure got my workout this morning!

We found the calf....God led us right to her. But, she was scared of us and ran into the thicket of blackberry brambles. We walked the fence line back home. We were within 20 feet of her at one point last

night...

We moved the cows to the other front pasture, so Mama was on the same side of the property as baby. Mama broke out and went to get baby. They were together in the next door neighbor's field again. I slid down the side of the hill to lead them back across the fence where Mama got out...but Mama and babe jumped up on the road, so I crawled back up to the road! What an ordeal! We walked them down the road home again. Everyone is safe, sound and together again.

When I got back from searching for baby, our power had gone out! We got it back just before we left to get feed...that was $100!....then on to pick up Toby and go to the tractor place. Spent another $260 there on tractor parts....ugh....but, the tractor and a bush hog are so needed up top!

Thank you all again for your prayers... I know it is "just a calf" but Mama sounded so pitiful...and the thought of a

3 week old calf out there alone...it just brought me to tears. It so reminded me of the time Mary was lost...as Cutie (Mama)

was pacing around bellowing for her babe...just looked like we did searching frantically for Mary....

BUT!!! All are together and safe and sound...life is good! God is gracious and we are ever so thankful!!!

I am pooped and quite ready for sleep...

Farm life is nothing if not exciting!!

But, I wouldn't trade this life for anything!

Glad that mom and baby are back together..

Farm life is great but it does make one tired.. but it is a good tired..
