It's Friday...and what a good day ahead!!

Today is our Keepers/Contenders meeting. It should be a great meeting..and time spent with friends is always a good time!!

Had some rain and high winds blow through yesterday. Nothing like what happened north of us..they had 80mph winds, rain and hail. I am thanking the Lord for sparing us from that.

This weekend, Honey will be working on his car. He's having a transmission issue. I so wish he had a shop to work in, with a lift. He's always dreamed of having one..and I so want him to have it. These jobs would be oh so much easier if he could be out of the elements and not laying on the ground working on things like that. Maybe someday....

Church on Wednesday just gets better and better. I love the intimate atmosphere and the teaching. Bro Dino is so gifted in preaching and teaching. What a blessing he and our church family is to us!

Honey's boss is at a meeting today regarding his position....not just his..but all of the Home Depot IMA's....I'm praying for the outcome...if the changes happen, his responsibilities will change and so will his hours. We'll go from 5-2 to 4-1. That's gonna be a hard adjustment to make. May mean no more Wednesday night church for Honey. I so prefer going places with him..and he gets so much out of the teaching as well.

Just finished paying bills...and there's actually a bit of money left! Wahoo!!!

Will begin working on our taxes this weekend. With our medical bills this past year, I'm sure hoping for a nice return. We spent ALOT on medical bills in 2007. I can't finish it up till the W-2 comes in..and HD doesn't get it out any too quickly..but I can have it all ready and waiting for that info.

Time to get some reading done. I'm reading a new book with some online friends called Feminine Appeal. So far, I'm really enjoying it!
