In light of my lists I do for each birthday, here is my list in honor of our 17th wedding anniversary today!

17 things I've learned about marriage...

1. That being married is the most wonderful thing in the world

2. That being married to your best friend is even better

3. That time spent together is more important than anything else I do

4. That watching your Honey's face when he's looking at your newborn is priceless

5. That there is nothing I wouldn't do for my Honey

6. That there's nothing my Honey wouldn't do for me

7. That even when the rest of the world is cold and lonely, home is not

8. That no matter what anyone else says, being in submission to your husband is the very best place to be

9. That I am not a doormat just because I am in submission to my Honey, I am simply covered by his love

10. That life just gets sweeter with time

11. That somehow, the love we have for each other grows deeper with each passing year

12. That friends may come and go, family may too, but our love is forever and constant

13. That sometimes you have to give more than you get...but it's entirely worth it cause next time, he'll be the one giving

14. That a Honey going off to work each day is a true testament to his love for his family

15. That having children with your Honey adds such a deep bond and trust to your marriage

16. That I'm blessed with the best husband and marriage ever

17. That my Honey takes his vows very seriously and is definitely with me no matter what...for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness or in health, to love and to cherish 'till death do us part. Completely and totally true.

And one more thing...that I am completely, overwhelmingly, constantly, and forever in love with my Honey!

This is such a lovely list, thanks for posting. This is so true of my marriage too, aren't we blessed.
