Monday's happenings...

Today has been a nice, quiet at home day. I LOVE these days!!!
The piano tuner came and repaired the broken strings on our computer. That is such a blessing! Rebecca and Thomas can now practice and not sound so "off"...while actually enjoying playing.
My Honey went to the chiropractor again. They have put him on an as needed basis now. The pain has been relieved!! Praise God!!! He was hurting with that neck and shoulder pain...for too long...and I'm so thankful he's not in pain any more!

The girls went for a long walk to our back pastures. It's so beautiful back there...especially this time of year. Rebecca and Natalie both took lots of photos. They had a good time. I am so blessed with children who get along so well...and truly enjoy each other's company. It will be wonderful to watch them as adults, being best of friends. They have learned, through trials and just life, that they are each other's best friends.

Thomas did some yard cleanup for Daddy today. He's such a worker...especially when he puts his mind to a task. I love it when he gets to creating and building...he's quite talented! He went after a huge groundhog today..but the ~~little~~ big bugger went under the barn before he could get a shot at him. I have no doubt he'll get that thing before long. He's a good shot!

We are working on our Thanksgiving preparations. It will be a simple, quiet celebration for our family this year. My folks are not here and we didn't invite any friends...it's just us. Which will be nice, in a different way. We wrote up the menu last night. And will begin our cooking tomorrow. I am cooking sweet potatoes for pie and also a tasty casserole dish. Natalie will be making a cheesecake this year. It will be her first year to be making something, and she's quite excited about that. I love that my girls are such helps in the kitchen...and we love working together. The Lord has surely blessed me abundantly!!

Time for snuggle time on the couch with my gang. Daddy is sleeping already..he was tired out after our walk this evening. A good, long night's sleep is just what he needs.
