What a night!!

Last night, my Rebecca and I went to Huntsville...to her very first concert!!! We saw Casting Crowns, one of favorite bands. They put on an excellent show! Also with them was Leeland and John Waller. I had hoped before we got there that the first two acts wouldn't perform long so we could "get to the good stuff". However, after each of the finished, I wished they would have kept on playing longer!

I have been to concerts before...in my younger days. Those concerts were so very much different than this one. They were not Christian bands. They were quite secular bands. And the audience was different. As we walked in, we saw families walking together. They were dressed as we were...jeans, shirts (that covered their bodies!), normal hair. No foul language, no weird hair dos. No bad stuff. So unlike those other concerts!!

It was refreshing to look around and see little people with big people. Folks singing along with their hands raised, in worship. What a difference!

If you have an opportunity to see Casting Crowns in concert, GO!!! It was an excellent show!! Our only complaint? It didn't last long enough!
