What a wonderful weekend!!

This weekend was such a nice one!!! I have enjoyed every minute of it..hate to see it end.

Saturday morning, I told everyone to load up in the Burb...we were going places. My beloved sat in the passenger seat. This was kinda odd...cause he always drives..he doesn't usually care for me to drive, not because of my driving, but because it reminds him of his youth when his Dad would be without a license due to poor choices and his step-Mom would drive him around. This was obviously not the case here!!! He enjoyed the scenery....there just isn't a bad view around here. We LOVE living here!!!!

We went first to a music store and bought my Honey a new harmonica in a different key. Also a mic stand. Thomas got a DVD for learning to play the electric guitar. He has taken lessons for the acoustic guitar, but needed a bit of help in playing the electric version. He's played quite a bit since he got the DVD, so that was money well spent!

We left there and went to another music store, just down the road. Honey got a metronome there. He's been wanting one for some time. Rebecca and Thomas got guitar stands and picks. Natalie and Mary got slide whistles...that they really love!

After this, we were all hungry, so our big outing included a trip to Ryan's. It's not the best food, but it's a nice buffet...everyone can get what they want and it doesn't cost an absolute fortune. We now pay for 3 adult meals...and 3 children meals. This is the last year for Thomas to be considered a child meal.... We don't go out to eat as a family very often...I'd venture to say it happens about every 3 months or so. It's a big treat when we do!

We then left there and went to Target...I wanted to show Honey some shelves I'd like to have to hold all my soap making supplies. They are $70, so obviously stayed at Target!   After this, we stopped at Wal Mart, bought a few groceries and some other stuff....then we headed home.

It was a very nice day...I just love being with my family!!!

Today, Toby had to go into work at 6 for a store meeting. He was home earlier than he was supposed to be...the meeting only lasted 40 minutes...so he made that drive for that short of a meeting. When he got home, he snuggled with me (LOVE that!!!!) for awhile...then it was time to get up and get ready for Sunday School and church. We LOVE our church!!!! Bro Dino is just incredible...he sure preaches it!!! Today, he spoke about confessing what you know God has promised you...and holding onto to that promise even when it's not physically finished yet. Keep confessing it as if it has come to pass. Don't doubt God!

That was a timely message...and one that has pricked our hearts.

We stopped a the small local grocery store for rotisserie chickens for dinner and came home to eat. Had a nice meal...then we went outside to work. Honey burned all the feed bags that had accumulated since the last time he could burn. It's been so very dry here that burn days are few and far between. Thomas and I put away the pool stuff and cleaned up the yard. Then we ran to the gas station for some gas. When we got home, my Boy Wonder mowed. Super Man finished the back of the house after he, Thomas, Natalie and Mary picked the area over for rocks. My beloved is much more careful about rocks since his leg injury (that looks awesomely healed, thank you Lord!!!)

Natalie wrote another note to God. She so badly wants us to have twin babies. She wanted to send this letter to God on a balloon. Well, the balloons we have are from her birthday...so they didn't rise too well with the letter attached...so she wrote her request on the balloon. We all prayed before she let go of the balloon and she released it to Him. Yes, she knows that she doesn't have to send messages like that to God, just open her mouth and talk to Him...but she wanted to do something special. Mary would like to add her own balloon message to God...so we'll do that tomorrow. I think it is so wonderful and loving that our children so dearly want more siblings. Nope, don't tell me we don't "need" more children!!! They would be ever so happy if we were to have more babies...they even want twins. Which would be awesome if God so chose to bless our family!!!

While my Honey was mowing, I sat on the porch and went through three large bags of clothes a woman from church generously blessed us with! Natalie and Mary have some nice, new clothes!!

And this evening, my Honey and I sat to watch a tv show together. It really doesn't matter what's on...all that matters is that we are together.

It's now nearly bedtime...this week is going to be a busy one for us. I don't like running alot....I much prefer to be home. But, these things are good and we'll enjoy it. And enjoy even more our time at home next week. Great news!!! My folks will return home in a week!!!! YEAH!!!! It's been months since we've seen them and we sure are missing them!!!!!

My beloved is calling me to join him for sweet slumber...how can it be anything but sweet when I get to sleep snuggled up next to him?! The weather is cooler...makes for great snuggling!!!
