A note to God from my Natalie

I went through some papers today...and found this note to God from my almost 8 year old Natalie...

It made me cry...like I haven't cried in awhile...and still does each time I look at it.

Our due date would have been this Saturday. Oh, how I wish I were rubbing a huge belly, feeling those kicks and waddling around. Instead, my womb is empty and my heart is sad. It's been a long path that we have walked...and I keep thinking I am doing better, when I get hit with a whammy to my heart.

The simple request of a child...

After reading your blog, and seeing the sweetest prayer, so simple and pure, from your precious little girl, I could not keep from weeping. As I write this comment, my heart grieves for your loss, and no words that I may say will ever change this terrible emptiness that you feel. But there is a song, it's called "Cry to Jesus" that Whispers in my spirit for you. Cry out to him, and He will offer you comfort, and peace. My prayer for you today,
Heavenly Father,please comfort this young woman in her loss. Envelope her in Your loving arms, and rain your peace upon her, and her house. You know everything God. Your son suffered for us, so that, in our pain and agony, we might have an advocate sitting at Your great and mighty right hand. Father send those who love her to minister to her, both in body and spirit. And Father, I ask that you also touch her precious little girl with Your Peace. "Come unto me all ye that are heavy-laden, and I will give you rest." Father, give her sweet sleep in the night, and refresh her in spirit. I ask these things in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Saviour. Amen.
I will continue to pray for you. If ever you need to talk, just e-mail me. I promise, (and I keep my word), to lift you in prayer for as long as you feel you need.
